1-Year Functional Warranty

What This Warranty Covers

The 1-Year Functional Warranty applies strictly to the functional components of the belt, including
• Ratchet locking mechanism
• Buckle release system
• Internal locking teeth affecting normal operation

If a functional defect occurs within 12 months of purchase, Retrofit will
• Repair or replace the faulty mechanism or buckle
• Or issue store credit equal to the buckle value if replacement is not available

Coverage is limited to functionality only.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover
• Buckle and Leather strap wear, stretching, scratches, cuts, stains, or discoloration
• Cosmetic damage or natural aging of leather and buckle
• Damage caused by water, sweat, chemicals, burns, pets, or external force
• Improper use, excessive weight stress, or use outside intended purpose
• Cutting the strap beyond the required size
• Alterations, repairs, or tampering by third parties
• Loss or theft

Leather is a natural material and its wear varies with usage. Strap condition is not included in functional warranty coverage.

Warranty Period

• Valid for 12 months from the original purchase date
• Applies only to products purchased through authorized Retrofit channels

Claims submitted after the warranty period will not be accepted.

How to Claim Warranty

To submit a warranty claim, the following are required

1. Proof of purchase (order number or invoice)

2. A short video clearly showing the functional issue with the mechanism

3. Physical return of the belt for inspection

Claims without product return will not be processed.

Shipping Policy

• Customer is responsible for shipping the product to Retrofit
• Retrofit covers shipping back to the customer after claim approval

This applies to approved warranty claims only.

Claim Review and Resolution

• Inspection and decision within 7 to 10 business days after receiving the product
• Approved claims will be resolved through repair, replacement, or store credit
• Cash refunds are not offered under the 1-Year Functional Warranty

Retrofit reserves the right to reject claims that do not meet warranty conditions.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty is limited to functional repair or replacement only. Retrofit is not responsible for
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Costs arising from misuse or non-covered conditions
• Any claims beyond what is explicitly stated in this policy

Validity Conditions

The 1-Year Functional Warranty is valid only for
• Products purchased from official Retrofit platforms or authorized retailers
• Items with verifiable proof of purchase

Retrofit reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage if the product shows signs of misuse or unauthorized modification.
